THE CYCLORAMA

The title of this collection of plays is inspired by Árpád Feszty’s panoramic painting The Arrival of the Hungarians, which was one of the main attractions at Hungary’s Millennium Exhibition in 1896. The plays explore the circumstances surrounding the conception of the vast cyclorama, the fevered preparations, and the creative process itself, with all its joys, anguish, and uncertainties.
