KARTAL’S EVENTFUL WEDDING

In this novel we read about the marriage of the King’s favourite knight, Kartal. It used to be an ancient Hungarian custom to kidnap the bride before the wedding, but this time real kidnappers appear, and it is Kartal’s task to get his fiancee back, experiencing some amazing and exciting adventures in the process. THE RETURN OF KARTAL

The knight Kartal has a quarrel with his king, Charles Robert. But nothing lasts forever. At the end of this exciting story full of surprise developments, his little son Bálint and the king’s son Lajos fight a “knight’s duel” (more akin to a brawl) in a forest clearing. They both emerge as winners, because the two fathers reconcile their differences on the spot. (300 pages)

 

THE LAST ADVENTURE OF KARTAL

The carrier pigeon knows only one address, and it definitely arrives there. But it so happens that the pigeon is exchanged by accident, from where confusion arises. In the course of the story, the great Hungarian king Charles Robert dies, and Kartal manages to prevent a conspiracy which would not respect even the dead king. (260 pages)

 

BISHOP GELLÉRT’S LOVER

The Hungarian Middle Ages are an interesting, strange world. The author had the courage to “dive into” this mysterious world. The slandered girl and of course the slandered bishop do not even know about each other. Exciting, touching, beautiful novel. (230 pages)
